So Close Yet So Far

39,000 words done, but here comes the crunch time.  From here until November 30th I have days that are already jam-packed with holiday, school & church stuff (plus a few "me" moments, like my plans to see Mockingjay today).  In fact I need to be finished by Thanksgiving Day itself, or I'm going to be finishing up the novel by hand while on a hunting trip with kids to look after.  Doesn't sound like a recipe for success, does it?

Time to put my nose to the grindstone.  Here goes!
