A Non-writing November Update
How is it the end of November already??
Well, here is my last minute recap so I can squeak in an update for the month:
- M is still working and saving money like a Dave Ramsey champ
- J has been extra busy with his service assignments because of the Thanksgiving holiday
- B is working a good deal (it's also a busy time of the year for grocery stores) and spending time with her not-official-boyfriend
- K started driving himself to school (yay!!!)
- S turned 14 (What on earth, my baby is 14?!)
- Terence is working like normal and prepping to go out on his yearly elk hunt with the "boys" (i.e. my dad, my brothers-in-law, and my nephews)
As for me, I found myself suddenly doing billing for my dad's company again, at his personal request, so my free time is non-existent. I am also basically going through "exposure therapy" for claustrophobia as I try to get used to using a cpap to sleep at night. How is it going? Well, I'm up to almost three hours at night-- which honestly, is three hours more than I ever thought I would be able to stand. So, hey, that is a wonderful blessing! Fingers crossed I will work my way up to a full night by Christmas, and that it makes a difference.
Time to take a deep breath, remind myself of all that I am grateful for, and head into the Christmas season. I really am juggling a lot of balls (especially with the last Sheralie book release coming at the beginning of January) but I don't want to lose sight of the true reason for the season. I intend to focus on Jesus Christ, and why His birth matters to me personally.
Onward!
