Visions of Sugarplums

The excitement around our house is palpable.  I expect tonight there will be five kiddos up until their father gets home for work in the wee hours, at least!

The Christmas season wears me out and sometimes causes major anxiety, but for my children it is truly the most magical time of year.  Just to remind myself, I asked the older four what they like best and what they think Santa's going to surprise them with this year.  Here are their answers:

M:
What's your favorite thing about Christmas? Christmas morning.
What do you think Santa is going to bring you?  I have no idea.

J:
What's your favorite thing about Christmas?  Everything!
What do you think Santa's going to bring you?  A laptop.

B:
What's your favorite thing about Christmas?  That we get to spend time with our family.
What do you think Santa's going to bring you?  My Little Pony toys and Barbie.

K:
What's your favorite thing about Christmas? Getting toys.
What do you think Santa's going to bring you?  A Transformers game for the Playstation 2.

As for S, she can't really answer me on these yet, but I bet tomorrow morning will be nothing short of magical for her as well.  She's been just thrilled to death with all the Christmas lights and trees and goodies so far.
