He Is Risen

The kids are quiet and settled.  I just swept up and threw away a truckload of Easter grass.  The candy has all been eaten and hopefully the sugar crash will be past by tomorrow.  Our Easter play day is over.

(Way back in the day Terence and I decided to keep Easter simple, with all the major stuff happening on Saturday.  So our egg hunt-- the only consistent tradition we keep-- happened this morning.)

Tomorrow the plan is to focus on the true meaning of Easter-- why it's important and why we celebrate it.  Our family will watch some videos with scenes from the life of Jesus Christ and read some of the related scriptures.
